Madgwicks Lawyers started in the early 1970's as an offshoot of a Sydney firm of the same name. The firm grew out of a base of insolvency and litigation work, with Graeme Levy and Peter Kennedy building the legal practice and client base over a number of years.
Today, Madgwicks is a full service business law firm comprising 14 partners, 37 lawyers and law clerks, and over 100 staff. The firm advises local, national and international clients on their private, corporate and commercial legal issues. Madgwick's main practice areas include corporate and commercial law, property, dispute resolution and litigation, insolvency and reconstruction, and workplace relations.
The firm is part of Meritas, one of the world's largest international affiliations of independent law firms. This alliance provides Madgwicks' clients with access to 230 lawyers in Australia and New Zealand, and over 7, 500 lawyers in more than 80 countries around the world.
